Take this extraordinary glimpse into the beloved holiday home of the famous and much-loved author Agatha Christie and her family. The relaxed and atmospheric house is set in the 1950s, and contains many of the family's collections, including archaeology, Tunbridgeware, silver, botanical china and books. Outside you can explore the large and romantic woodland garden, with a restored vinery, wild edges and rare plantings, which drifts down the hillside towards the sparkling Dart estuary.

This is an amazing tourist attraction. It was the home of Agatha Christie. It is a National Trust venue. We spent hours looking round as there is no restriction on how long you stay. You are given a booklet on entering which gives an excellent...More

Visited with my husband and new baby on an autumn day, spent a few hours wandering around the gardens, even managing to get the pushchair to the difficult to reach places! That was beautiful. Upon finishing the walk we ambled around the house which, to...More

We took the boat ferry from Dittisham to Greenways. What a delightful place with so many family treasures to peruse. They have a pop over cinema during December which we will be back to watch over Christmas .

I have been a member of the NT for years and have been fortunate to visit a lot of wonderful places. However Greenway is by far my favourite property to visit. You need to book parking in advance as spaces are limited - but still...More

If you are an Agatha Christie fan this is a must see. Then you can appreciate (perhaps) how the author thought. If you are not a fan, this place will help you appreciate how a 1930's celebrity lived. Alternatively, you can just be plain nosey...More

It does ´t quite feel like Agatha Christie just went out the door to reappear in a few minutes (her daughter lived there after the crime novelist died anyway), but it still give a strong feeling of her personality and style. I rate it 5...More

Agatha Christie's house and sumptuous grounds are great to visit. You have to pre-book parking but it is worth it. Love views over the River Dart from the Top Garden and worth walking down to the Boat House - tea room is good too.

Visited on a blustery Saturday in November. Told that we could go in the house when we wanted. The house was full as a coach party were having a guided tour which meant that most of the rooms were crowded. Good job that I've been...More

Make sure you book a parking space in advance. A short walk gets you to the house although there is a shuttle bus if needed. The rooms feel as though Agatha Christie has just left. The house is filled with lots of Knick knacks. There...More

Dogs are welcome here and will love the beautiful walks around the estate. There are water bowls and tethering poles outside the main reception. Dogs are not allowed in the house.
