Great for kids

Really enjoyed Woodlands Theme Park. Not too busy, very laid back, lovely setting, friendly staff, and plenty of variety for the kids - rides, slides, climbing, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and the children didn't want to leave.

We're big fans of Woodlands, it's a full day out for the kids. It's not cheap to go as a one off but you can easily go ALL day. Indoor activities are huge and the outdoor offers enough for kids of all ages and scary enough for teenagers! Animal petting and a falconry area.

Visited this park whilst on holiday at Devon Cliffs. The kids (8,7 and 3) all had a great time. There is quite a lot for younger children to amuse themselves with onsite. Our lot loved the pirate ship, the water slides and the toboggan run best. The indoor facilities were all clean and managed well. Everything is included in the... More

We had a lovely day at Woodlands, whilst visit family in Devon. The whole park is slightly run down as other reviews suggest, but it's still perfectly usable. The food on offer is the usual fair, but not particularly well cooked or presented. They had Pasties & Pies advertised all over the park, but none available, so we settled for... More

Woodlands was clean, organised with friendly staff but I feel is dated, overrated and needs modernising! The rides it has are ok but it is lacking in attractions and overpriced. It is really like a large park with some play houses and animals and a few water slides. My children aged 8, 6 and 3 enjoyed it but I don't... More

Having visited here every time we visited Devon we again visited Woodlands. What we like about the park is the big effort it makes for Halloween and this year was no exception. Whilst there was several bigger rides this park caters for families with smaller children, probably 10 and under best. There was plenty of animal attractions and several smaller... More

We surprised our daughter with a return trip to this brilliant park during the half term. It really is a brilliant all round place for families. Looks beautiful with the Autumn leaves too! My husband really liked the empire blast soft play area for his chance to be a big kid! Fun Halloween stuff on too. Will definitely return when... More

We visited here a number of years ago when our kids were very young and it was out of season. We had fun so decided to come back. We were there from 10AM to 4:30PM. There are some Big fun rides, Avalanche, the Water Boat Slides and Toboggan. We rode these all a few times. There's other smaller attractions like... More

We visited as a family during half term when the Halloween themed Woodlands was in full swing. This is a park aimed at younger children with plenty of indoor play, farm animals and activities. However, there is still lots for slightly older children, although teenagers may struggle. An enormous amount of effort is taken to make the whole area look... More
