Follow the street signs to find this, tucked away behind the shops. The cobbled market square is surrounded by an array of charming independent shops, cafes, farm shop etc. a very busy place on Market days

We always visit the Old Market Square when in Dartmouth. An interesting place with two nice cafe's, lots of little specialist shops and a very good fish stall. These units are supplemented on certain days with extra specialist stalls. Worth a look around.

Was given a lovely leaflet when we left the ferry about the market. Based on this, we went. Few stalls, expensive items. Won't be going back there.

I love this market for its individuality. For me the best stall is "wild food" where you can buy THE best smoked fish around! Hot smoked Salmon, Cold Smoked Salmon, Haddock as well as fresh fish of all types, freshly picked crab and huge prawns....More

It didn't look like much from the outside but were glad that we decided to walk through the entrance into the Courtyard. Built in 1828, it is filled with a myriad of shops, including an upholsterer, pet store, hardware, farm shop and even a barber...More

this is a very old market which dates back a couple of hundred years, it has quite a few craft shops and a couple of good cafes , just part of the old part of town and good to see .
