A very enjoyable day's walk with Emma and her dog Sky, beautiful landscape in stunning natural surroundings, with dartmoor ponies grazing, sheep and cows too, we also saw the weekly horse riders trekking across the moors. Emma was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and fauna, communicating this on our walk. We enjoyed a yoga nidra by Virginia in a stone circle, which was once a round house. A swim in the river Dart, refreshing and exhilarating. Thank you to Emma for an amazing day, which I shall definitely organise another walk with you and recommend to friends and family. We returned back to our farmhouse accommodation and indulged in a wood fired sauna followed by a cold plunge pool which was very welcomed after a day on the moors. Thank you Emma once again, I shall return.

I joined a lovely hike for the Walking Festival in 2022, taking the King Walk along the old Royal Post trail. On a group walk, I was the only non-local (visiting from the US). Emma helped me arrange transportation and emailed incredibly helpful details to prepare me for my visit to Dartmoor. On the walk, Emma provided us with tons of history, ecological information, and local lore. I was so impressed with her knowledge of the park! We learned about plantlife, hundreds of years of history, and even fairytales. She could not have been more accommodating and insightful, and her wonderful pup Skye joined for the fun. I am already planning my trip back to the park!

Perfect introduction to walking on Dartmoor. Emma’s knowledge and experience enhanced what would otherwise have been a lovely and scenic walk. In addition to the views, we managed to get a much better feel and understanding of where we were, and the historical facts, along with some fiction!! We’d recommend and will use Emma’s services again and having looked on her website there are many other interesting guided walks and talks available. Thank you Emma, Suzanne & Kevin Fisher, Hayley and Daisy xxxx
