For a truly out of this world experience, don't miss out on the fun at the Milky Way Adventure Park - North Devon's multi award family winning day out. Just 10 minutes outside of Bideford awaits a full day of adventure for the whole family come rain or shine. Take a ride on the Cosmic Typhoon roller coaster - enjoy the panoramic views from the top, but prepare to scream as you face the hair-raising drop! Have a close encounter with aliens in the Clone Zone dark ride and take on the huge death slide in the Time Warp - if you dare. Opening in 2016 is an amazing display of Sci-Fi memorabilia - one man's vast private collection of characters, collectables and fan art from film and TV...from Daleks to Darth Vader! There's plenty for smaller adventurers too including the innovative Little Stars play centre designed for babies to pre-schoolers. It has a multi-level soft play area, sensory room for babies, a dressing up area, roll play pizzeria complete with kitchen, tables and food to stimulate imaginative play - and even a pretend car wash with ride-on cars. The park also boasts the UK's largest bouncing pillow, as well as a smaller pillow just for children under five and accompanying adults. One of the parks most popular attractions are the droid destroyer dodgems which guarantee a bumping good time for everyone, including little ones with special gentle rides for smaller visitors. Another favourite is the Time Warp - North Devon's biggest indoor play area, with assault courses and slides built for adults as well as children. To wind down, visitors can take a leisurely trip on the Milky Way railway, and then sit back and enjoy the shows which include Merlin from Britain's Got Talent with his fun packed skills and thrills show and breath-taking displays from the North Devon Birds of Prey Centre. The park also has a 1,000 seat indoor arena, so you can be sure that the show goes on whatever the weather! Alongside this, there's plenty to try your hand at including archery, golf and laser shooting for all the family. With over 110,000 sq feet of indoor fun & acres of outdoor activities, The Milky Way is the biggest all weather, family day out in North Devon. It's designed to be fun for parents as well as kids and there are no hidden extras as all of the rides, shows and play areas are included in the entrance fee. Your adventure awaits you - are you ready?

Another day at the Milky Way and another great day out with the family. Always things to be doing, great shows from Merlin and fascinating Falconry displays both indoors and out. Once again we bought several glass sculptures from the excellent Kristine Glass, something the kids have been doing for years. She always has time to show the kids what... More

My boys (and me) loved the jumping pillows and the clone zone rollercoaster. Had a lovely day and the sun was on our side. Plenty to do inside and out :)

On holiday for the first time in devon and had this booked in for monday as the attendance figures seemed lower. It wasn't what we expected but it was great fun, weather was awful but because the vast majority of the things to do are inside this didn't matter. Admittedly the rollercoaster was small and dated but the queues allowed... More

We visited this place whilst on holiday in North Cornwall. Very easy to find. The admission seemed a little high at £13.95 but there was loads to do and we spent the say there. My son enjoyed the archery, pottery painting and the indoor play area. I really enjoyed the falconry display it was amazing.

I'm so pleased you enjoyed a 'great day' with us and felt we were reasonably priced. Sorry to hear your daughter missed out on the Clone Zone alien ride. All our ride opening times our printed on the free site map handed to you on arrival and displayed outside each ride themselves. We also announce two or three times on... More

Visited whilst in the area. Really enjoyed the falcons display indoors and outdoors. Great value for family day out. 18 hole putting course which was entertaining. Our little one enjoyed the pottery painting but was an extra fee but that depends on what you choose. One to small rides which past the day away. Friendly staff to make our day... More

This was our 2nd visit to the milky way and we weren't disappointed. My children aged 8 6 3 loved every minute and there certainly is something for everyone to enjoy. I really liked the fact that they give the little ones a shot on the dodgems by doing a small kids session. Our 3yr old loved the little stars... More

Hi Debbie. Thanks so much for getting us right back on track with a wonderful 5 star review. I'm genuinely pleased you had a thoroughly enjoyable day. Thanks so much for stating that our new Little Stars play area is the best you've visited and appreciate the smaller children's ride we do on the dodgems - the little ones seem... More

We were on holiday in the local area and looking for something to do with the children. Days like this are limited in this area so children were looking forward to a good day out. When we walked in (after we paid) we were automatically disappointed. This place is very run down and has no identity. A bit of this... More

Dear Kelly. It's a great shame to have received your one star review and it is obviously very disappointing to read. Fortunately over 85% of our reviewers rate us as 'excellent' or 'very good' so although your rating does buck the trend, you are of course entitled to your own opinion. Only last month TripAdvisor themselves ranked us as the... More

Today we visited the Milky Way, it's our third time and once again a huge hit with both us and the children. Lots to keep both our 2 & 5 year olds engaged and us too! My son tried the archery for the first time today and the staff were so kind and patient, especially Jake and another young chap... More

14 year olds are put off by the way this placed is marketed, but once in here they do enjoy themselves. Enough cafe space for parents to refresh whilst youth use up energy. For 14 year olds the Dodgems, small roller coaster, archery, putting green, trampolines, zip wire, small death slide all offer easy fun and there is also the... More

It's true we market ourselves as something for the whole family rather than for a particular age group such as teenagers. We'd rather it be this way so we don't overpromise and underdeliver. I'm pleased though your tennagers enjoyed their day and found plenty to do once they were here. Please visit again soon for another fun filled adventure! More
