Travelling around Cornwall in a hire car we needed to return to our hotel. So decided to wait for the ferry. Lovely restful and beautiful way to cross the river.

We went across from St. Mawes to Falmouth for a day trip and the obvious mode of transport was the ferry. Frequent and reasonably fast, but not too fast that one misses the great views. Staff very helpful. Well worth a punt.

Took the return day trip from St Mawes to Falmouth. Lovely trip and nice to view the coast from the sea instead of vice versa. My daughters really enjoyed it. Great fun and worth booking in advance for the discount. Very helpful crew as well.

The ferry runs every hour, tides allowing. Good way to get over to Falmouth with the added bonus of probably seeing dolphins

We took the ferry from St Mawes to Falmouth and it was brilliant. They had heard about a pod of dolphins and diverted slightly so that we could watch the dolphins - which was amazing! Very friendly crew and great service. Thoroughly recommended.

Book this crossing online for a good price. Takes about 20 minutes for the crossing. Nice way to visit a different part of Falmouth and also see the castle at St Mawes.

Having covered more than enough miles in the car during our holiday to Cornwall we decided to take the ferry across to Falmouth for the day, leaving the car in the large public car park right next to the harbour. Tickets were very reasonably priced...More
