We've been a couple of times with James now and always enjoy ourselves. We caught some fish and James is a great host with lots of information. I would definitely recommend.

5 of us went, 2 adults and 3 boys 12-14 years, first time fishing and everyone throughly enjoyed it, we caught plenty of mackeral and a few sardines. James was a great host, knowlegable about the area and taught us how to fish. Was amazing how many we caught. Overall a great experience and if this even slightly interests you, just go ahead and book it, you wont be dissapointed! Thank you!

Thank you James for a great trip. Mackerel & gurnard were delicious for our supper as prepared by Tresanton. Our second trip with you, five years in between - hope we’ll be back sooner.

What a great use of my weeks holiday in St Mawes. Though the weather was definitely not perfect everyone was determined to have a go and James was very helpful. After heading out to a few different spots with very little luck James was determined we would all have a chance to catch a fish. With much perseverance we finally found a great spot with the biggest catch being a large bass. I highly recommend booking this if you are in the St Mawes area.

Joined James on his boat, Four adults and four youngsters onboard, weather looking and forecast to be a little wild, he said we would have a look out to sea, and if too rough, retreat to the river, it was excitingly unstable but great fun, we spotted dolphins, he calmy got us nearer to them... kids loving it... excellent few hours, worth every penny... lots of mackerel, and in the way back in got to help him check his lobster pots ... def do it again next time we are here ...
