Great Real Ale Pub

Good real ale pub, friendly staff, busy even in the winter months. They also have bands on at the weekend.

Went here for an evening meal, pub was cosy and staff were friendly. Food was average, normal pub food. I would go again, but it wouldn't be my first choice

We were recommended by friends to try the pub as they use it when on holiday every year. The pub Is dog friendly which was great for us. Staff were very helpful and chatty. We went back to try the food a few days later. Highly recommend cooked well and not to badly priced. Would use again. Children and dog... More

In a lovely old building in the heart of St Ives . It don't look much from the outside but it's warm and welcoming once you go through the... More

Not a great deal of choice for cooked meals. Opted for lasagna which came in a small oval dish on top of a large white plate, accompanied by two small pieces of garlic bread. I don't call a piece of lasagna measuring approximately 5cms by 8.5cms 'large'. Other reviews claim to have had large portions, not on this night they... More

Nice inside but becomes very busy and always has music every night which can be off putting. The food is fine but just not much choice. My fish and chips was not crispy batter just soggy!

Quiz night on a Monday in the Castle is a blast. It gets very busy so get there early to make sure you get a seat!
