Away from the wharf - basic boozer. Cheap drinks, great atmosphere and possibly the best jukebox ever. Sport on telly, pool table and always packed with lots of characters. Always spend time there when in the area. Yea it's a bit loud, everyone's always having a good time, sometimes the loos need a health warning (New Years Eve) but I... More

We have been visiting St Ives on our own and with friends for many years. Only when one of our friends was working down there 6 years ago did we start visiting this pub. Difficult to know where to start. It is jam packed full of characters from the gay couple having a good old snog in the corner to... More

We are Micropub enthusiasts. This is not one of those but because the Pilchard Press is not always open we like the 3 Fs as an alternative. Bias towards younger drinkers but still welcoming, and the Ferrets has bustle noise pool and TV in its amenable one room bar Listing needs some photos..

If you have kids don't visit this pub at night as there were blokes fighting inside and drug taking in the toilets, avoid like the plague

That may upset some people but really shouldn't. We went there because we were told it was the only place still open after 12.30am and we fancied another beer. It's a bit like a Wild West saloon, admittedly it was very late and nearly everyone was worse for wear but we had our women with us and I can understand... More

Fairly small place, but okay, sky sports etc. Well popular with the locals, but can be a little bit rowdy, but not for me sorry.

So many pubs these days aren't really pubs, they are just restaurants serving drinks. This one is a real pub. Cracking jukebox. I love this place.

Having read a number of poor reviews on the Three Ferrets, which I admit put us off trying it out before, on our third short stay in St Ives we decided to give it a try. We found it busy, friendly, warm, clean, & full of folks relaxing & enjoying themselves. The service was excellent, both afternoon & evening -... More
