Having read a number of poor reviews on the Three Ferrets, which I admit put us off trying it out before, on our third short stay in St Ives we decided to give it a try. We found... read more

If you have kids don't visit this pub at night as there were blokes fighting inside and drug taking in the toilets, avoid like the plague

Fairly small place, but okay, sky sports etc. Well popular with the locals, but can be a little bit rowdy, but not for me sorry.

So many pubs these days aren't really pubs, they are just restaurants serving drinks. This one is a real pub. Cracking jukebox. I love this place.

This pub is a proper traditional pub, it cancels the stereotype of pubs being top bistros that do food and nothing else. If you have a thirst, quench it here. Drinks are reasonable, music is always pumping and the atmosphere is alive! On our visit, we were made welcome with the staff being nice and helpful. This is a very... More

If you ever tire of the achingly middle class establishments that litter St. Ives now days I can do no more than recommend The Three Ferrets to you. Whenever we are in town we always pay a visit to this pub. It's a no frills, down to earth place. It's where the locals drink and we love it, super friendly... More

We were immediately welcomed by Adrian, a retired session guitarist, who explained that everyone there was a nutcase, and that he thought we would fit in very well! Characters include a hippy Dumbledor, Iggy Pop,... More
