If you enjoy art and pottery this is a must see. Fascinating film about the Pottery and Leach himself and a look at how things are made and the machinery and kilns used. Well worth an hour or so.

Brilliant museum and a walk through the whole process as it was in 1952 and is still being worked as a living process! We bought two Senior tickets with Gift Aid so we can come back again and again. It's such a treat to see...More

I visited with friends, and none of us are pottery buffs particularly. But this working pottery plus museum was a great little pitstop. We had a look around the pots on display, which were really cool and showed off different techniques. Then you go into...More

A must see in Cornwall for any pottery fan. You can see the studio where Bernard Leach worked, watch a charming vintage film of his work and philosophy and even try your hand at the potter's wheel. The shop has a good collection of recent...More

A fabulous museum and working pottery. It is well worth taking the time to watch the film that runs as it gives a greater insight into the history of the pottery and the processes that go into making the pots. It was fascinating for us...More

Trudged up the hill from St Ives to The Leach Pottery, reasonable admission price with concessions, excellent self guided tour if you are a Ceramics aficionado.

I've coveted Bernard Leach and Shoji Hamada's work since I took up pottery over 20 years ago, yet this was my first visit to this hallowed land! The museum is a fabulous insight into the working life of the Master Potter, preceeded by ample displays...More

We visited many years ago and were interested to see the considerable improvements in presentation. If you have an interest in pottery this is a must-see, particularly the old kilns. It is possible to take a guided tour (10.30 the day we went). Probably not...More

Having been to the exhibition of pottery at the Tate St Ives we were interested in learning more Bernard Leach and his work so we walked up the B3306 from the town which took about 20 minutes. It was well worth it. Don't miss the...More
