As other reviewers have noted, the cinema IS tired, dated and could do with a bit of money being spent on it... BUT, it's very quaint, serves it's purpose, shows top new releases and the staff were really friendly. We've been twice during our fortnight in St Ives on rainy days, and found the seats comfy and screens small but... More

Please please will you pump so money into this unsightly, falling apart disappointment to this beautiful town! This cinema has seen its day! It's in desperate need for some attention! Not only is the outside tatty and needs a simple paint the inside is just horrible the seats are so uncomfortable, damp and smelly! The problem is locals and holiday... More

Hello, We have recently totally redecorated and recarpeted the foyers and toilets and the lower floor theatres are completely fine but I do appreciate that the upper theatre needs attention. We redecorate and repainted the front at the cost of many thousands of pounds a few years ago. Unfortunately the sea air and the seagulls make a bit of a... More

Great little indie 3 screener. Staff enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Perhaps the most welcomed I've ever felt in a cinema! A little shabby, but all the better knowing this is a rescue story, where Cineworld's multiplex outside town would have brought its mediocrity to this town of small independent businesses. Tickets are cheap too. Hurrah! Note: Wheelchair access to screens 2... More

On a rainy day this is packed, which is lovely for business for them, as it's such a nice cinema. Staff really cheerful, helpful and friendly. We booked online on a day that was pouring with rain, and then collected tickets really early. We were so pleased we did as queues were huge as screen time approached . I thought... More

It was raining so it was very busy, I had booked online a member of staff was putting my details in but the till didn't recognise it, I had ordered tickets for a different cinema, all my fault for booking really quickly online. The staff were so helpful the manager sorted out a refund and even apologised to me. They... More

This is a great little cinema in St Ives with 3 screens but it cannot be compared to a modern multiplex. The building is quite old, it hasn't been upgraded for quite a while but it has Dolby sound, old but comfy chairs and you sit close to (but far enough away from) the screens which give a remarkablely good... This is an old, almost worn out, little cinema. However, staff were exceptionally friendly and seemed genuinely pleased to have our custom. Saw the Jungle Book and the new X men films. Once the films started you could be anywhere and you soon forget that you are not in a multiplex. Recommend this great wee place to anyone. Deserves to... More

After reading some other reviews I was worried about going to see Captain America Civil War here. My fears were totally unfounded, yes the cinema is old but that is part of its charm. The prices were so reasonable and the whole place took me right back to my childhood. I would 100% recommend visiting here, if you want something... More

Our 1st visit to this Cinema as the weather wasn't great, so we decided to treat ourselves to a film. The cinema is very old & worn & looked like it could do with a good clean up in general. We were in screen 1, upstairs & as we entered the auditorium it was very dark so we had to... More
