Walked here from the town and how lovely to see a super clean beach with the tide coming in and that made it ideal for the couple of surfers that were in the sea as the waves were just right. Also lovely views around the bay which made it really interesting.

Our hotel overlooked Porthminster beach & we couldn't wait go there for a walk. Despite it being November we enjoyed our blustery walk on this gorgeous sandy beach. It must be amazing in the summer time although probably gets very busy. Very convenient too as it's just a short stroll from the shops, cafes and restaurants of St Ives

There are beaches with less stone, more heat, clearer water and the setting sun. There are beaches with michelin starred cafes, harbouring super yachts, exotic coral and exciting times. Porthminster Beach is my favourite beach in the world. There are rocks to pick mussels and hunt crabs. It has enough sand and sea for an evening dip. It has ample... More

Walked on this beach along the coastal path. Beautiful clean beach. Gorgeous golden sand. Lots of photographic opportunity. Well worth the visit

A beautiful sandy beach with interesting shoreline varying depending on the weather. Good café sadly not used this time.

Not much you can really say. It's a smallish beach, fine sand, no shingle and the cafe's are good. Pleasant views across the Bay and St ives.

Fantastic west facing beach to see the lovely St. Ives sunsets, with the top-rated Porthminster Café close to hand. Great space for family fun and sand castle building with a gently sloping safe beach.

A child friendly beach with bars, restaurant, and mini golf. Sit on the wall and watch the world or dip your toes in the water
