The train journey to St Ives has to be one of the most scenic in Britain. Enjoy the spectacular views from the train window as the line sweeps along the coast past the golden sands of Hayle Towans and Carbis Bay before arriving in St Ives. Then head for the beach, explore the harbour or wander the shops and art galleries.

Scenic train ride, whilst staying in St Ives we took to train to St Erth. The most beautiful scenery of the coast for a few pounds.

Parking in St Ives is a nightmare, take the train! This is the "park and ride" system people refer to for St Ives - the car parks are large and spacious, the train is comfortable and has scenic views. It's also a lot of fun!...More

This is a scenic rail route running between St Ives and Earth stations. It’s all very relaxed, and the train moves along at a steady rather than fast pace meaning the views can be enjoyed. Although , it’s best enjoyed if you sit on the...More
