A great local museum full of interesting stories and history. Very reasonably priced and a lovely cafe next door. A great location to sit and watch the world go by.

We really enjoyed visiting this Museum during our stay. I am a hand knitter so found the information regarding the cornish history about Gansey's very interesting plus I was able to purchase a book about the history and a knitting kit using authentic yarn from the gift shop. The lady who was working at the Museum on the day was... More

There is something here for everyone, the area is very picturesque plenty to look at within the museum itself. We had visited here years ago and was pleased that it hadn't lost it's charm....

Nice little museum with lots and lots of things to see, but perhaps a bit too much reading to do in a small space, especially if it is busy with other people all trying to read the many stories as well. Lady at Reception very friendly and welcoming.
