Our last visit her was in 1992 and my son did not remember it (just the photos proved he was there). We were staying not far away so came with him and the grandchildren. As we also had the dog, the owner was very welcoming. The children loved looking at the buildings and comparing them to the ones we had just walked past. The village that has a model village with a model village that has a smaller model village is a great way to transfix your mind. The prices were very reasonable and the pieces at the end showing about the flooding and local flood defences were interesting too. You can walk round as many times as you wish and spot things you may have missed the first time round. All the family enjoyed an hour there without it costing too much.

We had a great visit to this attraction, 5 adults, 3 under 5’s and Lulu the Cockapoo. It was possibly the wettest day of the year but we were made welcome and had a very enjoyable time. Fortunately not everything is outside! The kids (and me) enjoyed the fact that there is a model of the model village in the model village and a model village….. etc. The prices were reasonable and we felt that even on a wet day, that we got good value for money

Beautiful model village. After seeing the village over the past few days (don’t come here til you have done this), the accuracy is very very good. The video at the far end is extremely interesting and very thought provoking. The little working display at the end is very entertaining. I could have spent many hours here as there’s always something new to find in the models. Please give enough time to allow you to fully explore the model and I am sure you will really enjoy it

Visited on a sunny rainy Cornish day, wasn’t expecting too much but it was a worth a visit. Son couldn’t get his head around the model within a model within a model but liked the detail. Met by a friendly gent and they allow dogs

I visited with my wife, elderly mother & two young children(5yrs & 2yrs). Entry was inexpensive (2yr old was free). The children were entertained by the model railway, model village (as were the adults) and the legend stories at the end left the kids with lots of questions and other adventures to follow up with.
My Mom was able to navigate even in the model section with her walking stick.
Staff were also very friendly when we visited.

We were a little unsure about entering, but were glad we did. The model village is really nicely done and has some cute and funny little details. Knowing the village fairly well, it was nice to see this little homage to it done so well.

A must if you are visiting the beautiful Polperro. We visited today and loved it , even my 12yr old daughter enjoyed it. Amazing ,detailed model of Polperro Village, interesting facts about the floods in 1976 and 1993. Loved the bit at the end with models telling you about cornish history . Cheap to go in and owner was so friendly. Highly recommended.

Another year another visit to the Model Village, it's be come a pilgrimage for our family. We used to visit with kids still do but now have the Grandkids in tow, who love the small house.
The chap that runs it, keeps it all spick and span.He has a lovely manner with the kids.
Grandson loves the trains and Granddaughter loves the story of Cornwall especially the witches.

Worth a visit while in Polperro. Reasonable entry price, which is important if a family. Model railway could do with a clean up but the village has been newly painted and is nice and bright and well cared for. An interesting 45 minutes.

This is so bad it's funny! Somewhat scruffy but then I do acknowledge it's been damaged by floods...in 1993. Rather tired but clearly privately owned so fair play. Be hats the land of legends all about- is that the dark room full of puppets? At least it was only £6 for four.
