A fascinating place. So interesting. Check before you go as it isnt always open. The parking is free so dont park in the private paying car parks at the bottom of the hill. The roads in are not great - very very narrow.

We missed the performance, but saw the wonderful views on the way up to the theatre from the lower car park and the beautiful vista from the theatre itself.

What an amazing place to have a theatre. Would imagine it could get cool of an evening. Everywhere you look you spot something else. The planting is wonderful too. There are toilets an a cafe also a small museum about the theatre.

The previous answer is perfect! You can bring food and drink, but please pack it in something collapsible as space is very limited!
