What a magical trip! The catamaran boat was very comfortable and because it was a very calm day we had to use the motor more than the sails. The two crew members were very friendly and extremely knowledgeable and the company use their gathered data from previous trips to try and spot wildlife. Straight out of Penzance harbour and we saw lots of harbour porpoises which was a brilliant start to the trip. We travelled a little further out and we hit the jackpot when we encountered a pod of about 50 common dolphins who came across to the boat and rode along our waves, ducking and diving around the boat it was just amazing and I was so thrilled. We did the Ocean Discovery trip which was three hours long and gave us the opportunity to explore different spots. We saw blue fin tuna, seabirds and then off the coast near Mousehole we saw a few seals relaxing on the rocks. Would certainly recommend this company and trip.

We had a great time. The boat is a sailing catamaran which also has an engine. On our trip there was little wind so we motored quite a lot but we did also get to cut the engine and sail, which was great to experience the calmness of that. They said being a catamaran made it more stable and less likely to create sea sickness. I do get sea sick sometimes and I was fine, so I guess that was borne out. Also the boat had a whole netting area between the hulls that you could climb on to to get very up close (and possibly wet) with the wildlife. It's great being out at sea and getting to see the coastline and cliffs, but the main thing is the wildlife I guess. We saw porpoises, seals, dolphins and lots of seabirds including gannets diving for fish. But the dolphins were really the highlight as a whole pod of dozens of them swam with the boat close enough almost to touch for ages, turning so that they could look up at us. The crew were very knowledgable and told us lots about what we were seeing. Definitely recommended.

We saw loads of dolphins, plus porpoises and seals. It was a great boat trip on the catamaran around the coast also. I'd recommend to anyone visiting Penzance.

Marine discovery were kind enough to let me move my booked trip to a different day with no problems - I ended up going on the last day of my holiday and what a way to end the week! We saw loads of common dolphins - some were bow riding which made me very very happy. Fantastic trip.

Booked the trip for my partners 30th and travelled from Leicester. It was very quiet on the wildlife front but still worth every penny. We absolutely loved it and can't wait to come back again next year. Thanks for an amazing day Mel
