Met Wayne as arranged at Newquay as a group of 5 on the Mystique. We were well looked after and spent an enjoyable day fishing primarily for bream, but many species encountered. All was safe and professional and I’m sure that we will book again.

Booked on a 4 hour deep sea fishing trip aboard Mystique - Great afternoon out for beginner and expert alike - thankyou - very comprehensive online booking and pre-trip Covid information - on the day we watched all handrails and seats on the boat being cleaned before we were allowed to board. Wayne was a very knowledgeable and helpful skipper - I only managed to catch a dogfish, a scad, a poor cod and 2 jellyfish !!! But others caught a massive tope shark, a bull huss, several bream, a red gurnard, numerous dogfish, a wrasse and a even a starfish haha...so if it was a species count we totally lucked out - (fish fingers for my tea though, but I really enjoyed it and will book again) cheers xx

Short break in Cornwall, chose fishnewquay after some review reading... thanks everyone you put me onto a winner... Wayne was excellent, boat was great and very well kitted out. Trip was 4 hours (we set off slightly early as we were all there - just 2 people) went to one area, but moved on after the fish were well fed on bait, with no catching! At the new hound we changed technique and rigs 3 times til we started catching (Wayne really wanted us to catch something!!) We were soon in on some nice pollack, bream, dogfish and horse mackerel Great day, well organised, very safe and very helpful. Highly recommend

I went out for a 4 hour fishing trip last Monday. We had caught a few fish when we heard a Mayday call from the coast guard. The Skipper told us to wind in our lines and took off at full speed to the accident. We were the first boat to get there and we searched until we were relieved by the RNLI lifeboats. Well done Skipper you deserve a citation.

We had a great morning out Fishing with Wayne. The weather was good and we went 30 minutes out to the reef to fish. He got us setup and fishing quickly and we were soon reeling them in. When the shoal had passed and it went quiet, we moved to a new spot and started reeling them in again. We caught 4 great sized pollock and a dozen mackerel which we kept for a BBQ and lots more we didn't. Wayne was good fun and happy to deal with a stag party.
