Small and very tired place

Visited the Lodge Inn to do some bowling. The place is a little dated and tired looking. The tenpin bowls are chipped and very worn. Has 4 lanes. For £18 for 1 game for 4 people... read more

We came here for a fun evening and we definitely did it was a good hour well spent, we paid about £19 for 2 adults and 2 games so not to bad. The only fault about this was the way it looked and located it really needs a re-vamp big time!! but the staff made the experience a lot better

I must admit we were disappointed with the current state of the place but it didn't ruin our bowling day out. We received a warm welcome from Ryan and he explained everything we needed to know and asked us at what point would we like lunch. Ryan is such an asset to this family run hotel. Having run our own... More

I live in Newquay and we have a choice of 3 bowling alleys to visit , and boy we chose the wrong one this time :( . We booked for 15 of us as a staff night out spending in excess of £250 . Where to start ? The ceiling has fallen in above the bowling alleys with debris everywhere... More

This was our first visit to this bowling alley, even though we've lived in Newquay for some time. I wasn't expecting much, and to be honest, it isn't much... Four lanes with your standard screens and input systems, a selection of balls and shoes, drinks etc... It is exactly what it is, a bowling alley. The price was great compared... More

My girlfriend and I were staying in the hotel upstairs. We decided to pop down and have a quick game of bowling after dinner. Ryan was working on his own. He quickly sorted us out with a lane, helped us set up the leaderboard and we were on our way. We had an issue with the lane but Ryan quickly... More

We booked for 2 adults and 2 children for 2pm. It was the earliest we could get as it was quite a wet day. When we got there (after walking down a good few very sloppy steps) there were 4 large very dirty tables. My husband went to speak to the only member of staff about food as we had... More

Weather was awful in Newquay so last minute we booked some bowling and took 5 children ages 2months, 2 years, 10, 12 and 15 with 5 adults. We booked a lane for two hours and included food in it as well. The young man that looked after us was called Ryan and despite being almost single handed he was fantastic.... More

It was a shamballs! It wasn't open when we arrived so we stood around in the rain for a bit! When it did decide to open, the staff were efficient! The set up was interesting... It takes you to back to the 60s, with the outdated system! The best bit by far, was the clanging noise throughout. A romantic date...I... More
