We have been to Lappa Valley annually now for 4 years. We are always impressed with the facilities and friendliness of the staff. Best is, entry price is all inclusive for all the great things to do there, canoeing, crazy golf, steam train rides, play areas @ picnic sites galore, I will be sad when mine get too old for... We've been to Lappa Valley Steam Railway several times during summer holidays and always had a fantastic time, lots to do and really friendly staff that are always happy to help, it's a great family day out and doesn't have the tackiness that a lot of other local attractions seem to have. We decided to try out the Santa special... More

but glad today we took the time to turn off and find the place. Well worth especially if children are involved, would think that it will be splendid on a fine summer day but that aside it offer much for little cost. My only concern is that having a mobility problem the walk from the car park could be a minor... More

This is a lovely place to visit. We take our grandchildren and they love it. They go on the little trains. And you have to park your car and get the little steam train. There's crazy golf a floor maze. Also somewhere to eat all in all a lovely day out.

Easy to find by following Brown Signs.A visit is full of nostalgia with the smell of the steam train the history of the remarkable site which someone had the foresight to develop and the present owners have even more excellent ideas to move the attraction even further in to the 21st century but still maintaining the fun of the past.Refreshments... enjoyed the time, and loved the trains - can really tell the volunteers put in as much timeas they can to keep this running. Had a nicely priced cream tea and enjoyed the boating lake, even though it was late october. Its not disneyland, but there is no restriction on the amount of times you ride a train or play... More

This was our first time at Lappa Valley 26th Oct. The public leaflet gave us the impression it was a great place to visit, so off we went. Using our satnav to reach the main station involved using some very narrow roads with very little passing points!! On arrival we found a large car park with plenty of scrap railway... More

I wasn't sure what to expect here. I thought it was good value for money but the food was not great. The staff were friendly and helpful but also seemed to enjoy the job they were doing. Some of it was run down but my review is based on the fun a 3 year old had here.
