Went today to go bodyboarding. The beach wad clean and spacious. The lifeguards were on patrol until 18:00. When the tide went out you can go really far out to sea with the water still being at your waist. Perfect 👌.
Another one of Newquay's good beaches and a little more accessible than both Tolcarne and Lusty Glaze. Excellent clean sands....the tide cleanses them twice a day. It is centrally placed and easily reached from both the beachfront hotels and the town centre!
Lovely beach to view from above or venture down to the sands. RNLI are on constant watch there too.
There is a bar and Cafe there too.
The climb up the hill can be exhausting, but it is well worth the effort
We visited this beach whilst on Holiday staying wit her friends . There are high cliffs which we sat against which was area, sun trap. The beach was nice it is great to see life guards and it felt safe with my young granddaughter bodyboarding...More
Yes, we have The Slope Beach Bar + Kitchen for meals and drinks plus SandBox for drinks, snacks, and ice-creams.
You can hire deckchairs from Newquay Surfing School, also based on the beach.
