Paul took the missus and me out on the Paddle Boards as complete novices, he was incredibly patient and gave us a great lesson: built our confidence, showed us some tricks and skills, and we had a great laugh in the process.

If you fancy trying something new on holiday, we’d definitely recommend these guys. Paul was absolutely brilliant taking the 4 of us plus 2 others out on the paddle boards. Great at explaining what to do and making the whole experience fun! By the end of the 2 hrs we were so much more confident on the boards. The river surroundings were absolutely gorgeous and the water so clear! We loved it and will definitely be returning next time we are in Looe.

I cannot imagine a better way to try paddle boarding for the first time. The setting is beautiful, the water is very calm and on a (fortunately) sunny morning on the West Looe River, the egrets and herons put on a show for us. I also cannot imagine a better trainer than Paul, who is hugely good with people, and had an excellent approach to taking a group through simple, clearly explained steps that give you the tools to use so that you can quickly become confident and able to stand and paddle the board. We were two of a group of six and he had all of us standing and paddling within an hour, with only one of the group having previously tried paddle boarding. He is a pleasure to be with and makes it a great experience.

Took a paddle boarding lesson and guided trip on Looe River on Bank Holiday, with Paul - the instructor. First time on a paddle board. Bit nervous. Nearly cancelled at last minute. So glad I didn’t. I had the best time. Went out in a small group. We all were looked after and coached by Paul. He knows his stuff, kept us safe and made it great fun. Especially the games, which really gave us some confidence on the board. Definitely will paddle board again. Such a great way to experience the river and beautiful woodland surrounding its shores. Fantastic experience! Also, for two hours small group coaching - excellent value for money. Most trustworthy outdoor leisure company.

Paul, our brilliant tutor and guide, gave a fantastic tour of West Looe river, taught valuable SUP skills and made it fun! Very highly recommended even if you’ve SUP’d before. Thanks Paul!
