Always interesting exhibitions. Today dropped into find an exhibition of original Captain Pugwash illustrations, and then around into the next space to find a Grayson Perry tapestry. Unexpected and marvellous.

Great exhibition of "captain pug wash" illustrations. They also have one of Grason Perry's amazing tapestries, an absolute must see.

We always try to visit here as there is usually a very good choice of things to buy as well as the exhibitions.

Lovely workshops welcoming staff. Great art! Easy to park in the quarry car park and short walk down to the gallery, small but interesting gift shop.

We spent half an hour or so visiting the gallery, it was interesting enough but i would not say you would have missed a treat if you dont get to visit, i am glad it was free.

A small gallery, but some lovely art on display. On two levels, and spreads into the town hall. Well worth a quick visit.

As some other reviewers have commented, it is a very small gallery but there are many interesting paintings to see. The gallery is attached to the public library with several rooms but there is no entrance fee. As expected, there were quite a lot of maritime paintings and artwork as well as portraits and landscapes. The staff were friendly and... More

To be fair, there was a school group doing a workshop while we were there, but we didn't find the gallery itself anything special. There are just a couple of rooms and, if you are interested in old works of local places, it might be interesting. It just wasn't what we expected. Their small gift shop, however, had some interesting... More

There is no entry fee to this very small gallery. The exhibitions are thematic, so if you have an hour to spare, pay a visit.
