Beautiful gardens with some unusually vibrant blue hydrangeas running along the central area of the gardens with the water features along side. You can wend your way along the gardens down to a beautiful tiny beach with stunning views.

We went on a sunny September day and are pleased we did. This is a fabulous location, with fabulous views, stunning gardens and once you get down to the bottom, a beautiful beach to spend some time at. When you consider that the garden is planned and planted, it is an incredible piece of horticultural work.

A lovely place to just lose yourself in the beauty of nature. Plenty to see and appreciate and lovely to be able to go right down on to the beach. Cafe good. Dog friendly.

This garden never fails to delight. The setting is beautiful , as you wend your way down through the valley to the beach and the views of the Helford river. There are numerous paths , some of which are electric buggy friendly and the variety of planting and vistas is truly stunning. I particularly like looking back to see the... More

Absolutely magical place and perfect to just "lose" yourself for a few hours. Don't miss it. Top tip, wear sensible, comfortable shoes as it is a bit of a walk down to the beach.

Defiantly worth a visit, a lovely trail walk though the valley with stunning planting and scenery suggest 2-4 hrs would be right unless you are really into your plants (there a thousands of beautifully presented species) all the normal trapping gift shop and cafe although reasonably priced. Some steep slopes and steps but nothing too difficult for average mobility.

I think we didn't visit at the best time of year to enjoy these gardens. There are masses of rhododendrons and camellias which would be fabulous in the spring .However, on a dull, grey day in September it was all rather green and much of a muchness. We walked down to the beach area but some extremely steep steps deterred... More

Gardens are gorgeous. But sadly, the food is very, very expensive for the quality and quantity. We paid just over £12.00 for two sandwiches, coffee and a juice. The sandwich, was of the same standard as the £1.50 from any Supermarket. But £4.00 for 2 pieces of bread, and 2 fillings, in a cardboard box. The so called cream tea,... More

Visited the gardens as we have heard so much about it, what can I say, absolutely beautiful, the grounds were well kept , every corner you turned was a surprise, the lakes were stunning, and not forgetting the secluded beach at the bottom of the garden, very tranquil, relaxing, ideal place to gather your thoughts. Even a little cafe that... More

These gardens are beautiful, so relaxing, large garden set in a valley with a beach at one end. Several different paths to take to suit all ages. Do not miss it!
