A pleasant way to spend an afternoon in Falmouth. It took a couple of hours and we went as far as Helford. Good weather made the trip all the better.

Took my Dad on this 2 1/4 hr boat ride. He loved it. It was nice to see the coast from out at sea and the calm weather made for a very comfortable journey. The two who ran the boat were very helpful and cheerful. The commentary was just the right amount of information. Didn't make use of the refreshments... More

We decided to take the MV Princessa trip up the Helford river from the Prince of Wales Quay in Falmouth. The weather was good and the sea state slight. The commentary from the skipper was informative and entertaining although an understanding of the Cornish dialect does help! A very nice way to spend a couple of hours.

A day trip to Falmouth sharing our daughter-in-laws' birthday we treated her to a trip on the MV Princessa from Falmouth to and along the Helford river and a very enjoyable trip it was. The guide was very informative and friendly and helped to make the cruise interesting. I would rate it good value for money. The only downside for... More

About 10 of us from our coach trip took a cruise along the river and we were all pleased that we had done so. The weather helped as although rain had been forecast the sun came out instead. The commentary was good although sometimes difficult to catch what was being said. However, the scenery was superb. We were able to... More

Me and my disabled mother had a lovely afternoon on the boat. The sites were amazing and the commentary was interesting. All staff went above and beyond to help mum on and off the boat. Nothing was too much trouble, even offered a lift back to our coach. Really made our holiday special and can't thank them enough ☺

Very enjoyable trip out through Falmouth Bay & into the Helford River which took about 2 1/4 hours. It was informative as we were told about which villages we passed by, & which ships were in port & also who a lot of the fabulous properties that we saw belonged to. Make sure that you have a coat with you... More

We were a decent sized grouped of 6 adults one toddler and an overly active dog looking for either a ferry trip or some sort of boat trip in Falmouth. We settled on the Princessa for a number of reason including the fact it had a bar and on board toilets. It had both in door and our door sections... More

On our last Helford River cruise, nearly 30 years ago, it was too choppy to proceed out of the harbour so we cruised up the Fal instead. This time we were lucky with a trip aboard PRINCESSA. She's not very smart and catering is basic but if you want to see the Helford River and Frenchman's Creek, this is the... More
