The River Dee is a fantastic river to see the lovely sites of Chester if you take one of the many pleasure boats not only are the cruisers very popular but you get to see Chester from a different perspective. Walking along some stretchers of the river is also cool and it's nice calling into places such as Hickorys Smokehouse... More

After taking a stroll along the banks and having a small refreshment down the waterfront we decided to take a cruise long the river. we did the longer of the cruises on offer and weren't disappointed. Full bar service on board and a great guide telling you all about the sights enroute

We were walking around the walls of Chester when we came to the river and so decided to stop and look. As it was December there weren't too many people around and the usual boat trips weren't in full swing. We did see some rowers enjoying the space. There are plenty of benches and an ice cream hut along the... More

Had a great time, 15 of us in total young and old. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Pleasant staff and lots of interesting facts about the river and the surrounding area.

Great thing about even a small town, situated on a river to monetise it is by having a cruise. So, Cheshire is no different, having commercialised this activity. The river cruise is only about 15 minutes up the river where on one side you have buildings and houses, all premium properties (by their very location) and a meadow on the... More

Enjoyed a joint open-top Bus and River trip at a very reasonable price and extremely well presented. The Bus commentary was enlightening and the river trip calm, relaxed and accompanied by a refreshing beer in the hot sun.
