This was a great place to visit especially on a rainy day in Chester. Full of interesting artefacts and information about the history of Chester. The large Roman stones discovered in recent times were particularly impressive.

Situated within the city not far from the Newgate. A wealth of historical information on Chester all under one roof. Very interesting and informative, with a small coffee shop and gift shop.

Unfortunately none of the museum staff are producing eggs at this moment . Your pet tortoise will have to be kept chained up outside as we are worried he might try to chew dinosaur bones sorry
