My little one is only 13 months and usually at soft play centres there isn't a lot for really littles ones- only a ball pit. But the bit for under 3s was great!!!! So much for him to do and problem solving on the walls- kept him busy for over an hour when usually he clings to me. Went on... More

Recently visited Funky town play centre after it's new refurbishment. I was really impressed especially the under 3's section which has been extended right back and lots more room. You can see children better now it's opened up more. It is very colourful and the new slide is excellent for the little ones. The stepping stones and soft play shapes... More

Thank you for taking the time to review Funky Town, we are really pleased that you like the new play area and centre! The toddler area has had a huge revamp, installing a 3 level play area with a new, double slide, ride on wobbly Donkey, ball blowers, assault course, roller squeezes and many more features to help children under... When it's quiet, this place is so much fun! Staff are fairly friendly, the place is usually quite clean. Some of it can be out of order sometimes which is a bit disappointing, but mostly it's been good. Their sensory room is great! The toddler section is really interactive and fun but some of it gets stuck or is a... More

Being a regular at funky town it's easy to see the consistency in cleanliness and attention to detail in making sure every child is catered for from sensory to dancing or running round like a mad thing on the play frame! The food is also great value. You do get a lot for your money and there are healthier options... More

Brilliant soft play for kids. Great separated areas for different age group. Nice sensory room and disco dancing room. Also has party room. Never had a party there but have attended one. Good value for money. However the hot food is not great. Coffee is really nice and good choice of drinks and snacks for children

I do love taking kids here, as they love it, keeps them busy for few hours, and I can chill with a nice caramel latte. The food is also very good here. Been to a few parties here, they were very good. You can have themed ones. E.g frozen, they have Elsa!

We had a great Avengers themed party at Funky Town for our pre-schooler. Everything was provided (and Avengers themed!) including food, drinks, decorations, cake, party bags, an appearance from Spiderman himself. The party host (Seona) was brilliant with the kids and got them all dancing in the disco and taking part in party games. It's so lovely just to walk... More

My daughter goes to a primary school in Chester and had been on half-term holiday last week, and was due to go back today but the school was closed for an Inset day for the staff - so NOT a school holiday. Upon arrival at 2.30pm, I was told to "come in and pay over there" (Funky Town offer two... More

We decided to have our daughter's 4th Birthday party at Funky Town. Booked a Frozen party and I have to say we were not disappointed! Was perfect in every way and our daughter loved every second. Food was good, staff and party organisers were fabulous! All the children and parents thoroughly enjoyed themselves. No stress for us at all. Would... More
