I have long since ceased going to the Pageant of Power in June, but thought this sounded good. As a long time rally enthusiast, the sound of a group B Audi, on maximum chat was too good to miss. I duly paid my £45.50 on line for my self and son in law and on the day set out from... More

WRC RALLY STAGE Having been to previous cpop events, we were expecting great things.........this event was so badly organised. Gate 1 signage to start with was difficult to find, but we knew the way from previous visits. Inside the main event everything was bunched up - all OVERPRICED food vans were parked next to each other just opposite the bmx... More

I've been to Cholmondeley a couple of times with my 4 and 2 year old but only ever in the summer. Visited on a sunny Sunday in October to take in the stunning autumn colour. They have a great variety of autumn planting and we loved seeing the late roses in the rose garden. The children enjoyed collecting conkers and... More

Visited today, Sunday. Be aware of opening times before visiting as it is not open Saturdays and various other days in the week, if any in October. Very impressive gardens, areas and views. Did not try the cafe as we had a picnic packed due to the glorious sunny day. A lovely 3 hours whiled away.

Went primarily for mini mudder and tough mudder, lovely gardens which was in all honesty the only part we saw. The view of the castle was lovely but really we were there to watch crazy people do ridiculous obstacles. Good parking and easy to find

Lovely visit. Interesting and well maintained gardens. Would definitely visit again. Only downside is that there was a 35 minute wait to get served at the café and then an additional wait for our food. Next time I will take a picnic.

We have passed by on lots of occasions and finally decided to visit this weekend. Unfortunately we turned up on a Saturday and were extremely surprised to find it closed. What a very odd day not to open. However we persevered and returned the following day. Also please note gates do not open until the very late time of 11am!!.... More

Visited Cholmondeley gardens for the first time and was very impressed with the grounds and gardens. It was a lovely day and was sorry we didn't take a picnic as there was plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views. The temple garden was beautiful and so peaceful. There happened to be a teddy bear's picnic on the day... More

An outstanding garden and one we've meant to visit for years. So pleased we finally got there. There is a lot of transitional work going on at the moment after the death of Lavinia last year, the new plans should make it even more stunning. Take the walking shoes as it is bigger than you think

Family members came up to stay with us for a few days and decided to take the to Cholmondley Castle and gardens, it's a big estate with well manicured gardens, the animal farm is a little sparse and could do with a little more signage for the children, the gardens are the real treat for us, wonderful ponds and little...
