We were not able to go on the tour, but saw the entry hall with its many displays. Fun live-size statue outside to take your picture.

Whatever your views, Cromwell was an exceptional figure in British history. This museum does a fine job of detailing his life and times. If nothing else, a building worth seeing in its own right...you will not regret visiting.

Very interesting insight to the life of Oliver Cromwell. If you enjoy your history then worth a visit if you are in Ely. Not a huge amount of rooms to go in but wasn’t expecting much for the price, free audio guide available as well.
