It’s on two floors, has a John Lewis (thankfully still open) at one end and currently features a number of colourful plastic cattle (of the bovine rather than human variety). It’s finished in a light coloured stone, has more than its fair share of coffee and chocolate outlets, a flying noble in the ceiling and a model medieval bridge with an inexplicably inserted rainbow beneath. Otherwise an unremarkable shopping centre.

We went to stay with friends in Cambridge for the weekend & the wife’s where dying to get some retail therapy. So we went to the grand & it’s a very large, but very nice shopping centre, bang in the middle of Cambridge. John Lewis is the largest shop, but there are lots of other shops, coffee shops & restaurants to suit all budgets. Are wife’s had a great time & we sat in Starbucks talking about old times. If your in Cambridge or the area it’s well worth a visit to the grand shopping centre. I’ll be back !!!

I have visited the Grand Arcade on many occasions which is a statement of satisfaction in itself. Located in the city centre surrounded by Cambridge University buildings and many other shops, dining areas and pubs it’s a great location to visit. There’s good quality shops from John Lewis, Vans, Ted Baker and even a Tesla Car area to the Disney store, outdoor and camping stores and again good coffee shops and WC areas. There a jewellery and watch shops that sell quality items also.
Well worth a visit if in the area, parking can be found to the rear of the John Lewis store.

Don't rip off the customers with such extortionate parking.

Real trap 2.5hrs parking cost us £7.30

Not even slightly reasonable. It would definitely stop us ever returning.

The shops are the same old shops nothing particularly amazing, over crowded, lack of bins, strange toilet locations and little or no staff in sight.

Compared to say Lakeside Thurrock this venue is bad.
Free parking,
Plethora of restaurants
Spacious
Double the shops if not more

If you are driving anyway try, bicester village, Lakeside, Watford all superior.

Would give no stars if possible. Had to go as it’s the only apple shop around.
£30.40 for 5 hours 12 minutes parking.
Won’t be going back to Cambridge ever again. Will encourage others to do the same. Faceless robbery of customers. These charges will be the death of Cambridge and the poor shops have the council run parking to blame. No a single sign to show the outrageous parking prices and now I know why.

Visited Grand Arcade and paid £12.70 for 5 mins parking. The wind caught the ticket and blew it away. We had to pay for 4 hours from 9am even though we were in the car park for 5 minutes. The staff at customer service refused to check CCTV footage proving our time of entry.
Will not be visiting this car park again. A complete rip off. Will continue to shop on line or visit other shopping centres in future.

Car parking charges need to be more reasonable. The car park is a nightmare to get in and out of and is extortionate. Pay a fortune for all the usual shops. Go somewhere else or use park and ride if you must shop in Cambridge.

This small, town center shopping mall has just about everything you could need. Its right in the middle of all the sight seeing places of interest which makes it very convenient. The only reasons I gave it 4 stars and not 5 stars is because the toilets are gross! Half of the doors didn’t have working locks and some of the taps were out of order. I got lucky with a clean toilet but the ones I checked before finding the clean one was totally blocked with toilet paper. The floors were unclean and the sinks needed wiping down. I’m not a clean freak but in public toilets as we are coming out of lockdown, you would think the mall would have hired extra staff to keep these areas extra clean. Despite the toilets, the rest of the mall was kept clean and the car park is probably one of the best ones to use to have access to all of the colleges in the town. We would definitely come back to this mall if we visit Cambridge again in the future.

A fair selection of shops with John Lewis being the main draw. However parking charges are extortionate so be quick with your shopping. £30+ for all day! No wonder retailers moan about falling footfall.
