Come for the beer - stay for the music if you're lucky enough to visit during a live gig! This is a dark and cosy pub with a great selection of beer, and candles on the tables. There is also a beer garden round the back. Definitely recommended.

This was a treat. Live blues/bluegrass. Intimate and quirky, great staff and a cool and properly decorated interior. Worth a visit!

Read rave reviews about this place so decided to take a detour to come here. Perhaps we caught it on an off day but we were a bit disappointed in all honesty. It's a very small place (God knows where the bands perform) and quite dark. It looks like it hasn't had a proper clean in a while and the punters were mostly local elderly men sitting alone (no issue with that, I just mean there wasn't much atmosphere). The bartender was polite and the beer was alright. If you are in the area and desperately need a drink then it's fine, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit.
