Rent a punt at Scudamore's quayside punt station at the bridge, not at the mill station. Purchase ticket in advance to save a few pounds. Tip: If you've never punted before, view the you tube video on their website so you don't punt badly like...More

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!! Loved the punting experience so much. Our punter was very informative & I learnt a bit that day. The water was very chaotic at times, but sort of added to the fun 😊

We walked along the Cam and enjoyed watching the punting and the views of 'the backs' however we found it a little frustrating that we couldn't walk through certain colleges or areas and had to cross over or tack back in land in places. It...More

We went punting on the river Cam. We also went for a long walk on the banks. The river does need a good clean in certain areas, however overall this was a beautiful experience.

'Punting' was definitely on our must do list and it was a lot of fun. I will confess that it is not easy, particularly on a crowded Sunday afternoon when lots of other amateurs are out also. If you want to focus on the scenery...More

You can get covered trips. Cambridge River Trips do it. They are on tripadvisor. For some reason this website will not let me post the link My experience is with punts, and these are certainly not covered Enjoy cambridge
