Now great food

Good selection of films, cosy bar and snacks / food. Now serving wider reagent of bar foods - at good prices. Recommend chilli and chips for £4.50

Very disappointing to find the menus seems to have shrunk. Nothing distinctive on the lunchtime menu, hot dog and butternut squash soup not even any sandwiches. A great cinema, but the cafe has always been the iceing on the cake, a lovely atmosphere and a good place to meet up with friends. Sad.

Whenever I visit friends locally we visit to see a good film with supper beforehand. The food is freshly cooked and delicious, with very friendly staff behind the bar and serving. General atmosphere is brilliant, seats are cosy though the cinema was cold to start with. Highly recommended.

Went here for the first time with friends recently, and really liked it as an alternative to the bigger multiplex type cinemas in town. Lovely little cafe (although I can imagine it would be complete chaos at busier times of the week) where we had coffee before and a bite for lunch after. I understand that you get 10% off... More

I've been a member here for many years and the Arts Picturehouse used to be good, but has declined significantly in recent years. They used to show a better range of films but now frequently show mainstream blockbusters which means the interesting films get squeezed into a few showings at inconvenient times and are often gone after a week so... We've visited the Arts Picture House numerous times over many years. Sadly the visit was completely ruined by really noisy people rustling sweet wrappers and munching popcorn through out. I felt that it was no longer the special place that it use to be

An excellent cinema there is a bar which means that you can take beer , wine etc into the movie which can make the experience different. Well worth a visit to support small businesses.

beautiful old fashioned cinema, excellent to watch 'live streamings' though don't both to see Jane Eyre if you want anything to do with the original Bronte

This cinema has more of a 'club' feel about it: warm and friendly. Bar is quite expensive if you're not a member, but the wine is well-chilled and there's a great selection of light snacks (hot and cold) if you're feeling a little peckish or rushing straight from work (or lectures!) to catch an early evening performance. Seats are comfortable.... More

One of the best things about Cambridge - despite being owned by Cineworld. It is always my first choice for a film and the pre-filming drinks are essential. This is a formula that seriously works - great choice of film, great atmosphere and a great bar and cafe. Its a complete night out
