We had a great time on the walking tour... Our guide Jon has a comprehensive knowledge of the history of Cambridge and was an excellent narrator. I would thoroughly recommend a visit to the Round Church and take advantage of the walking tour... It was so much better than the hop on hop off bus. M.

This is a highly informative attraction that is less about the (very interesting and ridiculously old) church than it is about how Cambridge owes an awful lot to Christianity. At times, that pitch feels defensive, as some of the connections are a stretch, but at its best moments, the presentation is reflective and balanced, as when they recognise the fact that the wealth and influence of the Middle East was transported to Cambridge through the Crusades, which they don't try to defend as a legitimate exercise of loving Christianity. It's an easy attraction to visit, right in the middle of everything, inexpensive, and easy to spend as much or as little time with as you want to.

Interesting building filled with a lot of history. A big emphasis on Christianity and the positive contributions the religion has made to the city and all of England while glossing over science and the negative contributions it made. Kind of a weird flex IMO.

The University tour is definitely really good and recommended. Dave our guide was absolutely brilliant. Very entertaining and educational at same time. Lots of anecdotes about the history of the city and how it tied and influenced the rest of England and the World throughout the centuries. Is all from the Christian point of view but even if you are not a fervent believer you will appreciate the fact that to understand this very religion driven city you need to understand this specific point of view.

I’ve really liked that church, that’s very particular. I think that enter inside is a must, because there is some history of England, and most important thing they explain to you why it was built like that. The people that work there are also really nice. In my opinion is one of the things you should visit if you go in Cambridge!
