Free entry and lots to see. This museum is a good way to spend an hour or two. Whilst not big it was full of interesting displays, some very tiny and some very large. The information on the displays is clear and plentiful if you want to spend longer there. There was an activity going on for younger children which... More

I visited MAA about 12yrs ago, and again this week. The ground floor has improved very much with the shop and other local relics, although I found the current exhibition about children and toys somewhat underwhelming. The 2nd floor, with the totem pole and artifacts from all around the world is the very memorable part. Like the nearby Sedgwick, this... More

A large collection of artefacts from Polynesia, Asia, Africa, North America and local archaeology. Seeing totem poles extend up through the floors is good and you can see the detail on teh higher floor. It was going through a re-organisation when I was there and the top floor did not have everything on display fully.

The place is so spacious and well arranged. You won't be overwhelmed by the information given like in other museums. The interior is so beautiful. We're there when they had an exhibition named 'Finding The Children in The Past' which is very interesting. However, some high school students sitting around museums corners were very annoying. I think they had a... More

There is something that will turn your eye and make you glad you visited this place. Its the un-looked at area of Cambridge, as most head to the shops.

a good-sized museum for families with children, a better choice than the huge Fitzwilliam. Lots of stairs.
