Very informative

Although this tour was informative, I found the guide to be a bit on the dry side. She was not as upbeat as other walking tours I have taken throughout Europe. Regardless, I found... read more

We went to very nice areas on Cambridge but I think we could have more information on our walk. The guide took us to the pounting place and then went away. I didn't like the program and I think we could see/ know more. But it was good, I would do it again. The price was fair.

You booked onto our Walking/Punting tour which is around 75 minutes walking and 45 minutes punting. We offer a variety of tours to try to cater for all our customers, the walking/punting tour is a... Although this tour was informative, I found the guide to be a bit on the dry side. She was not as upbeat as other walking tours I have taken throughout Europe. Regardless, I found her to be informative and the best way to see Cambridge in a few hours. Although it does have a cost, it does include sites that... More

This was the second time Cambridge Guide Liz Hodder gave my group of university students from the U.S. an introduction to Cambridge. She expertly tailored the tour and her introductions to colleges, chapels, pubs, historic homes and other landmarks to our academic needs while making sure that this was all done in an entertaining as well as scholarly fashion. We... More

I booked the King's and Backs tour last-minute, but because the King's College chapel was opening late that day, we toured Pembroke first, then the chapel, and a bit of the grounds behind King's. Our guide was Dr. Stephen Halliday, Pembroke alumnus (history major), former lecturer, and author! Guides who are history buffs are always great - and this was... More

We enjoyed our tour of Cambridge and the colleges. Lots of information on the history of the colleges and how the universities developed. The Kings college was so impressive and we had lots of interesting info on the stone work and the stained glass windows. A good tour for adults but I'd expect younger tourists might find it a bit... Very good guide, very knowledgeable and very patient too. Even though our students were not very interested at first, she engaged them naturally and everyone enjoyed the tour. Thank you very much

Maggie led us on a very interesting and informative walking tour in Cambridge. She delivered all the information in a humorous, knowledgeable and very interesting manner, keeping our attention for the entire two hours plus. We saw some wonderful sites and beautiful buildings. The only problem we had was actually locating the information service in Cambridge to book the walk... More

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. She showed us landmarks with the details of some of the scientific achievements at Cambridge. During the tour she ran into a friend of hers who is a Nobel Peace Prize recipient!

Did the King's College walking tour with Chris as the tour guide. Chris was a great guide, full of information, and answered all questions. He is passionate about Cambridge, and I learned a lot about the city and its history. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting Cambridge to take this tour.

Very enjoyable and informative. In particular the tour inside Kings College Chapel. Also gave a very good perspective on Cambridge from the river. Jane was an excellent guide who kept the interest of a diverse group.
