thru advent 1/2 an hour each evening an open air live performance ~ music speech drama..… by a local group for charity ~ the shows are free but a voluntary collection is made after and probably a drink offered

I went looking for the Living Chair Museum and I was told this has closed down although the signs are still up - I putting this on so other people don't waste their time like I did.

If you like chairs this museum is great, but if you like tables then frankly avoid.... After a visit, go to the white horse pub where sunday lunch is only a few pounds and the exotic dancers are even cheaper

Please note that this and the furniture factory closed January 2014. However it now houses three artist's studios and one woodcraft. All are fascinating especially Poppi Harrison's vibrant flowers and special floral art. And a lovely welcoming person too as is Robert Bishop at Kraftinwood....More

Really enjoyed visiting this furniture maker and touring the workshops. There are only a few chairs in the museum which were very interesting but the really interesting items were the bespoke chairs and furniture being currently made in limited editions.
