No one can come here and say they didnt enjoy the walk round, the beautiful views and great open space to explore nature. Perfect location to get the kids outside

It’s a short walk from the car park (there’s an ice cream van there) to the monument and there we had a relaxed afternoon admiring the view. Walking in the woods it’s also very nice. Worth visiting.

Coombe Hill is more or less the end of a lovely walk from Chesham of some 10/11 miles. Surrounded by gorse bushes with the distinctive aroma in the March sunshine, this was an idyllic end to a lovely walk looking out over the Vale of...More

We visited with our Border Collie and the place as a delight. From the car park, we entered the hill area and followed a well-maintained pathway leading to the monument. At the monument there were excellent 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside. The way-marked...More

Just about one of the best locations in the county. A lovely place to explore and see the wonderful Aylesbury Value without suffering Aylesbury itself...such a dump!

I love the viewpoint walk. The car park is a bit mucky when its wet, however the walk and view is worth it. The car park is free so with the bad is the good. Its main walk to the viewpoint is man made I...More

As a very young boy, growing up in Aylesbury, I was regularly dragged up Combe Hill and visit the monument. Either with my family, boys club but now, I choose to visit when I reluctantly return to the area, to visit the monument with my...More

With all the money we pay in council tax etc, you would have thought the local council can afford a couple of benches or picnic areas etc, such a beautiful 5 star view, 3 star management

Was in area so thought we would have a look. Car park is small and rough so may have to park on verge. Was a dry clear day so best time. Not too far to walk but stunning views

Parking is available at the top of the hill so no climbing is necessary. Parking at the bottom is not an option as that is close to Checkers and there is no space available.
