A lively city centre pub with great drinks and an awesome atmosphere! Live music every Thursday, Friday and Saturday (and will be introducing Sundays soon!) Cash prize quiz every Tuesday And a great new menu
What a bizarre experience that was. The owner was inexplicably angry and rude as I was trying to explain to him that I wasn't ordering the drinks, that my friend was. He actually called security when I was unable to tell him what everyone was...More
Genuinely the rudest staff in all of Bristol . There aren't many bars in Bristol with service that's so rude.
Went with a group of friends to the empty bar and asked a simple question about what Whiskey was in a cocktail, told I'd have...More
Popped in this afternoon. Staff member was more interested in what she was watching on her phone. Paid £2.90 for a half a cask ale that was not far off being undrinkable. Plenty of choice in Bristol. Avoid.
My wife was at work and so she left me with our two young children, I wanted to find a place for lunch, and the manager made us feel so welcome and his service was extremely attentive. It was lunchtime we ordered a vegan bolognaise...More

Beef short rib
Chicken wings with peri peri (also, only 3 wings in a portion)
Joining some work colleagues for tea between work projects I joined them in The Ram. However initially I felt, I’m so glad I joined them as the atmosphere on a late afternoon was suitably quiet, the staff friendly and attentive and the tapas amazing! Huge-portioned...More
Unusual to find Sipsmith's. About 4 different gins, two tonics. Great atmosphere and we (3 women) felt happy and safe. Can't comment on the price as I didn't get the drinks in. Would definitely go again.
2 halves of cider was £6.80, what a rip off. My friend even asked if this was right and the barmaid confirmed it was. So nearly £7 a pint, are they taking the piss or is it subversive charge for the band. Disgraceful, very disappointed...More
