Great for a break from the city noise. Some impressive specimens of trees dating back hundreds of years. Super for dogs, bikes or a simple stroll.

Beautiful walks along pretty good pathways - many different walks of length or gradient so something for everyone. Not sure for those in wheelchairs however so will have to take more notice when we visit again. Great place for the whole family.

Nice small woods, away from the bustle and noise of the city. Not very big, however there are plenty of nice walking routes to explore.

Lovely woods, just on the edge of the city. There is plenty of space for car parking and lots of choices for different walks/cycle rides. There are handy directions so that you can follow specific trails or you can take your own route.

There are many lovely walks through the woods. There is one outlook where you can see the bridge but it is rather overgrown.

This was a great place to take a group of people for a walk, friends catching up, ages 8 to 54, and two dogs. Well marked, easy to walk trails, beautiful setting. Good choice to get some exercise in a safe and pretty location.

Two years ago they had old boats in this forest. To see boats in a forest is not a small thing :) It`s brilliant¬ I`ve visited it aprox. 2 years ago, if the boats are still, go see them:) If not, still lots to see,...More

We love going for walks in Leigh Woods. Mixture of forests and fields. You really feel like you can escape the city feel. Well worth a visit.
