The location and upkeep of this park is incredible though the amount of drug users, and alcholics take away from this amazing place. I don't recommend this place during evenings even though its well lit and right in the middle of the city.

We felr it was well worth passing by this area as part of our Sacred Bristol walking tour as it was once home to the Mediaeval city centre.

This park runs along the water edge alongside the modern shopping district in Bristol. When was passed through it was a little bleak as it is still early in the year.

Castle Park is well positioned in the city centre, with the floating harbour along part of its southern boundary. The ruin of St Peter's church is an asset that adds real interest and is a fitting memorial to those killed in the Blitz during WW2....More

If you are walking into town and towards the waterfront and harbour side then recommend taking a stroll through e park. It has designated cycle and walking paths, well lit, plenty of seating and nice views over the water.

During the day, this is a pleasant park to stroll through. The ruined church is left as a memorial to those who died in the Blitz. During the summer lots of office workers spend their lunch time in the park. Do be aware that this...More

This is a beautiful green space in the city but does tend to have a lot of homeless people around. Gardens well tended and has a ruin of a monastery though not huge well worth a look. Good network of footpaths and you can get...More

Castle Park is a lovely place to sit in the summer or walk through any other time of year. There are a few areas (closer to the Marriott hotel) where people have wild camped and possibly taken drugs, but the main park is fab, especially...More

Nice green space in the middle of Bristol. Ideal for picnics and a walk round away from the busy shopping areas.
