Had a great time, lovely to see Bristol Harbour and the Gorge from the water. Great volunteer staff, who were very helpful and of course are very knowledgable. Excellent trip, highly recommend.

This trip is a small pilgrimage for those commuting across the Cumberland Basin and along the Portway. Time passes slowly so we can see the history we normally drive over.

We took a lovely crucise with Matthew down the river. The scenery is beautiful and the ship itself amazing. However there was one female crew member that was very angry and rude and it made me feel a little uneasy.

From the floating harbour, through the locks - the water drop was impressive. Under THE suspension bridge and down through the gorge. Exceeded expectations.

If you're just looking around, 10-15 minutes would be plenty. A trip is a different matter. I doubt there are toilets on board as there were no such amenities in the time of the original Matthew! You could use the ones at... More
