Cheap, entertaining, and great way to see a bit of Bristol. Crew is very safety focused and still managed to be entertaining, pointing out some of the historic boats that were about for the Bristol Fest. My wife had a sore foot and we were able to get from point and to B considerably closer to our hotel via this... More

Website advertises that there are afternoon trips to Beese's tea rooms but when I called these are only during school holidays...not ideal when you have planned your day for the afternoon trip! See image:

We had the last boat of the day. The captain was very friendly and informative. As we were the only people left on the boat, the Captain asked if the children would like to drive the boat - absolute highlight for my son aged 10. Only negative would be that it would be great if the tour continued a bit... More

Lovely 45 minutes spent in Bristol. Very cheap and good information delivered in an entertaining way. This tour also gave us ideas for the rest of the day. We did the city docks tour but have had the other tours recommended to, so will be returning for the others.

Good commentary and lovely way to spend an hour or so. History lesson made interesting. Boat also has covers in case of rain!

The 45 minute trip around the harbour consisted of 15 minutes travelling to the other pickup point, then looking at people's flats that were converted from old warehouses and a two minute look at the SS Great Britain which you could clearly see from the boarding point of the boat. Unfortunately, it felt there was little to actually see and... More

We were visiting Bristol from Australia and had booked ahead for this cruise upriver on the Avon to Beezes pub. While the weather was pretty cold and threatening rain on the day we were rugged up and dry and it was a pleasant journey through the outskirts of Bristol. The company even supplied blankets if needed which we were grateful... More

We booked the 45 minute harbour trip and, at the end, felt quite disappointed as it really doesn't cover that much of the harbour and certainly doesn't venture into the less well known bits nor does it go far "downstream" past the Great Britain.

What a disappointing trip, seating was very poor, to view the scenery you had stand, expected a boat with much better viewing. So for the cost it was definitely poor value and will not be recommending "The Flower of Bristol" to my friends. This was a gift to friends of ours, and we felt very upset at how it turned... More

We are very sorry your experience on the Flower of Bristol was not up to your expectations. Due to rain on the day of your trip a decision was made to use the Flower Of Bristol rather than one of the open boats. Perhaps we made the wrong choice? I would like to offer you a full refund and the... More

We received a voucher for Christmas and decided to take the one way day trip from Bristol to Bath. The weather was changeable but mostly dry and Narrowboat Redshank has canopies that cover the seating area when the rain gets a bit heavy! The skipper Sam was a brilliant boatman and also gave a great commentary. As a Bristolian, and... More
