We caught the ferry at the quay Temple Meads. The boat departed on time and arrived at the SS Great Britain as per the schedule. With a concession it cost us £2.60 each. The young lady who worked on the ferry was particularly friendly and we appreciated her useful advice on places to visit during our stay in the city.... More

It was both fun and interesting to travel on these ferries. We had day tickets allowing a full days travel in every direction. A great way to see Bristol with views from the water.

If we hadn't seen a sign to ss Great Britain and discovered that we had to take a little ferry to reach it, we wouldn't have known that bigger ferries went up and down river! So, when we'd finished our visit to the ship, we had a trip down The Avon and then stayed on board to go up river... More

Convenient and a fun way to see Bristol from a different perspective. Help support the local community by supporting these publicly owned ferries :-)

Great way to see the city from a different perspective. Good value also. Shame there isn't more boats running. Friendly crews and interesting views

We walked along the harbourside to get to the SS Great Britain with our friends, but it's always nice to hop on one of the ferry boats to get around, and we did to get back to the central harbourside. Friendly, efficient staff and service.

Reasonably priced and friendly guys running it, helpful and willing to answer questions. You can hop on, hop off at various places including Millenium Square, SS Great Britain and Bristol Temple Meads Railway station.

We had a smooth ride through Bristol docks where we could see many different types of boat from water level.

Regular trips round the harbour area. Take a day ticket so you can do both sections and able to hop on and off.
