Like most guys at this time of the year I fall into 'don't have a clue' category. A friend suggested I visited the Original Bristol Blue Glass shop in Brislington. I'm so glad I did. The staff were most helpful and their product knowledge guided me to exactly what I needed. The quality of each item is stunning and it's... More

I visited BB at the weekend to exchange an anniversary present my husband had bought recently. He had already been in touch with them to find out if it would be ok and they couldn't have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Excellent customer service! I selected 2 different items to replace my present and also bought a... More

In this century of instant obsolescence, mass production, gadgets and fads, it is reassuring to know that there are still artisans who are masters of their craft working to this day. Briftol Blue has its origins in the mists of the 1700s. Today, it is being made to the same exacting standards, if not higher. To see is to believe....... More

We were fortunate enough to visit Bristol Blue Glass on an open day, so we saw the highly skilled glass workers demonstrating their craft. It was fascinating and the finished work is impressive...need to return for some Christmas baubles!

My partner took me here to look around the shop and to watch some glass blowing. Free to watch, we were lucky enough to watch 3 of the guys make many beautiful objects such as a wine glass, a vase, a small, solid glass bird and a few glass baubles. Absolutely fascinating to watch, they are so skilled! Very friendly... More

Very much enjoyed visiting the Bristol Blue Glass showroom and factory. The items in the showroom were unbelievably beautiful and there was a good selection. The place was located on a busy road that was difficult to get in and out depending on the directions you are coming from. Must be careful because it is a small place. The parking... More

Simply fabulous. I took my 8 and 16 year olds for a quick treat. The team were brilliant, very attentive, patient and clearly passionate about their craft. They were happy to answer the questions of a nervous, yet excited autistic lad. Lovely chat about the tools and skills that have remained relatively untouched for 100's of years. Highly recommend to... More

My late Nan collected Bristol Blue for as long as I can remember and I purchased a few pieces for her myself such as the blue swan, the blue earrings and she actually left her earrings to me. So Bristol Blue is not just something I take pride in as a Bristolian, it's truly special to me. Keep up the... More
