A friend and I went here on a Sunday afternoon. The park is enormous offering you the opportunity to go wandering for ages. If you park up by the golf club you can have a cup of tea at the cafe then go to the office and get an orienteering map for £1.50. A bargain! Hours of fun and exploring!... More

That is the highlight of our Britol trip. We loved the two deer park inside the Ashton Court. It's a free park. It's good place to walk, run and family activity.

Beautiful parkland. Stunning entrance at top as if going to the golf club. Parked there (£1.20 all day) and got a takeaway coffee from the cafe to take with me on my dog walk. There are also free toilets here. There are lots of trails for walkers and bikers alike, generally working their way down to the mansion house, where... More

An estate left to the people of Bristol. Walks, café, pitch and putt, steam railway in the summer months. Just a glorious place to go. Don't forget the Balloon Fiesta in August - absolutely awesome!

Have a walk, breath and have a chat with the deer! Refreshing and a nice fresh green space two steps away from Bristol city center

Open fields, pretty woodlands, lovely planted gardens, residing deer, all combine to make this one of my favourite locations in Bristol.

All the people at the railway are volunteers, they are so friendly, helpful and caring, the railway is a must for younger children, great layout, many different trains and carriages, the place is spotless

Recently visited due to balloon fiesta, haven't been in a few years but decided to revisit, was brilliant but busy! Stayed until the end but we did get a taxi back as I was told that the queue to vacate in a car is usually horrendous... and it was! Plenty of food stands and plenty of things to do with... More

First time at Ashton Court for a number of decades and I was bowled over by what I had been missing. The estate is so large you can get lost walking or cycling around. Huge ares of grass and acres of woodland. Plus two cafes, golf courses, miniature railway, and bike hire. All you need for an hour or a... More

Ashton court is gorgeous, the grounds are alway well kept, and the gardens are gorgeous. The mansion itself is also quite stunning! Perfect sunny weather stroll and picnic location (or hammock location if you're like me!).
