This is a nice part of Bristol for tourists. I most recently went in January sins the scaffolding has been taken down and it looks good. Also good to see at night

Firstly walk the length of the bridge both ways then take in the visitor centre. The whole lot is worthy of your time. Parking is a bit tricky but for the view, for the sense of history and seeing what Brunel did this is very...More

While on the train to Bristol, a local recommend that we see the bridge by night. So, after a wonderful meal in Bristol, we Ubered to the bridge for a look. Worth the ride.

Another work of Isambard Kingdom Brunel I believe, a great structure, very photogenic both day and night, this Bridge holds baby mysteries and you need to experience it. It's free for bikes and walkers. Great views of Bristol and beyond.

Nice views can be had by walking across the bridge. There's also a park above the bridge you can hike to with a small museum.

Perfect spot for photos and free to cross if on foot. Toll of £1.00 per crossing if by car. Also great parks to walk around and Clifton village has great cafes and shops.

We caught the river ferry and then walked to the bridge ...it's about 20 minutes and steep but worth it . Walking along the bridge gave beautiful views of Bristol and the visitors centre was well worth a visit

I would rate Bristol above Cheltenham and on a par with Bath for history and attractions but if your schedule is tight then so be it.. As one other person said Bristol is quite a large City and the attractions are spread... More

If you want to visit the centre, and need a bus, then take the 1, 2, 8 or 9, which all go to the centre. Same buses obvioulsy back up to Clifton.
