If you are a fan of old things this is a great place to go and lose yourself. When we first walked in I didn't think too much of it but as I went into different sections I realised this place just keeps giving. It is quite amazing the amount of different types of old things from tractors to clothing.... More

It's hard to really put into words, I think it's expensive as it's just a very large barn full of stuff, probably good for the very old and young but we were left scratching our heads...it's not educational .....just a HUGE collection of everything? The restaurant is lovely and can recommend eating there, if you are visiting and have mobility... More

Thank you for your comments. We don't have any steps in the museum or café and please always ask for a wheelchair which can be used, free of charge. More

We took out tractor-mad grandson, a party of 8 in all. He loved it, we all loved the place. Had lunch in the cafe too, basic, but charming and spotlessly clean...

A real must to visit! So many treasures of our past to peruse we loved it so much. The restaurant is great something for everyone. The venue is all undercover so great for a wet day too.The staff very welcoming and gave us the impression they were one happy band of girls. Thank you all.

We went with a group of old people from the residential home, accompanying my father. He thoroughly enjoyed the experience looking at the artefacts from his youth (he was 94 at the time). Unfortunately he forgot his braces and his trousers fell down to much laughter from the rest of the old folk! I am looking forward to going again...please... More

According to a couple of previous reviews, this was difficult to find. It was too easy. Get off the motorway and head for Portbury and the brown signs are there. Didn't eat at the cafe as we had indulged in a hotel breakfast so we went straight into the exhibition which loos like a door you shouldn't be opening without... More

I took my girlfriend here for a visit and we both thourghly enjoyed ourselves. We spent over four hours enjoying all the exhibits and displays. I wouldn't recommend Oakham Treasures to people of all ages as we found it very enjoyable. The cafe is lovely and food was very good and resonantly prices. Overall a great day out.

Surely in the wrong place, stopping in a very tidy Farm Yard. Park car, enter building into a very smart Cafe. Paid entry fee then walk into an amazing sight. Barns full floor to roof of Yesteryear items ranging from small badges to very large Tractors. Everything to bring back memories for the oldies, and wow the youngest person. Spent... More
