An amazing collection of things to make you remember, from egg cups to a huge combine harvester and everything in between! A lovely way to spend a rainy afternoon, with a very nice lunch. More than one visit needed I feel. Would highly recommend a visit especially to baby boomers.

Having seen leaflets and the website, decided to visit. Oakham Treasures is open Tuesday to Saturday between 10 - 5 situated on the boundary of Portbury village, set in lovely surroundings. Entry was easy with disabled access available. There is ample parking around the site. Has you enter the establishment you arrive in the cafe which is reasonably priced serving... More

A great place to go back in time, an amazing collection we spent four hours going round it. We also had a meal there which was first class staff were so willing to help you.

A wonderful day out for all ages. Well worth a visit for reminiscing for adults or educational for children. It amazed my friend & I how much bigger it was inside. Onsite cafe offering hot & cold drinks: lunches - snacks or main meals: afternoon tea.

Oakham Treasures is so easy to get to from the motorway, my friends and I used their cafe as a midway point to meet up after not seeing each other for a while. Two of us had a cream tea and our other friend had gluten free flapjack and a hot chocolate. The staff were very helpful when we needed... More

My wife and I are in our fifties. Going into Oakham Treasures was like stepping back to our youth. When people say things like "they don't make chocolate bars as big as they used to"...the proof is right here. They have chocolate bars from the 1970's that really do put modern bars in the shade. Toys, from our childhood, household... More

An excellent historic collection, a must visit for anyone but especially for those over 50 years old, we came from Devon to visit, and it is very difficult to appreciate what you are going to see from a brochure, but BOY WHAT A SURPRISE , WE SPENT 4 HOURS LOOKING AT ALL THE DISPLAYS, must go back again, don't miss... This was my first visit. For once the promotional literature is correct - it reads, "There's so much to see." We began by having tea and scones in the cafe. There was plenty of space and the prices are very reasonable. The staff were very helpful. When we started looking at the exhibition we not only 'went back in time'... More
