A magnificent creation of nature. A World Heritage Geopark, and rated a Chinese 5A Scenic Area. Formed by the erosion and movement of glaciers and ice caps.

Large open space with plenty of marked pathways. This park is a welcome change from some of the other heavily touristed sites in Inner Mongolia.

Asihatu is the same place as the Hexigten World Geopark, the number 2 attraction in Keshiketeng Banner. Please read my review under Hexigten World Geopark. As I was on a work related trip, I cannot tell you how to get there by public transportation. But it's a nice day out, if ever you are in Chifeng. To get there, you pass a nice mountain range full of flowers in summer (I wonder if it's the same as Huanggangliang, the attraction number 1 mentioned for Keshiketeng) and nice grassland (I wonder if it'sthe same as Hexigten Prairie, the attraction number 3 mentioned for Keshiketeng).
